![]() ![]() Wasteland explorers are being trained across all stats. Also, Mister Handies can be sent into the wasteland to gather caps. It will move around on a single floor of the vault collecting resources and defending that floor from incidents. The Mister Handy is a robotic assistant to the overseer of the vault. As my vault improves I'll have an excess of workers, so I'll try to train everyone in endurance and possibly strength/perception. Mister Handy is a robot character added to Fallout Shelter with the Android release on August 13, 2015. In Fallout 4, some still do, although the primary purpose of SPECIAL attributes in Fallout 4 is determining what perks you have access to. Personally, I'm training the primary stat and luck for my stay-at-home dwellers, though I'm phasing out diners/gardens and water production as I introduce more Nuka Cola bottlers. In the wastes, success against a specific enemy type seems to be influenced by a specific stat (excluding endurance which seems to be a purely defensive stat). ![]() In addition, for Common and Rare weapons, the 'Hardened' prefix will raise the Rareness up one tier. Strength may increase damage (though it's not certain this applies within the vault) and perception may increase aim/hit rate and thus overall damage. All weapons found in Fallout Shelter have 'Rusty,' 'Enhanced,' 'Focused,' 'Hardened' and other versions which will subtract or add damage to the weapon. (see this question and the links within the answer). However, there is some thought that some of the SPECIAL stats affect combat. The only difference based on level is the dweller's total hit points, and the cost to revive them. Agility and intelligence are probably a waste of time for dwellers who won't be exploring the wastes. ![]()
